Why surface identification matters
How Tile and Stone Are Cleaned
Materials react differently: calcium-based stones such as marble and travertine etch with acids, and porous stone and grout absorb spills, while glazed porcelain resists both. That is why every job starts by identifying and testing the surface.
01
Identify & test
The surface is identified and tested so the products are safe for it.
02
Protect
Adjoining surfaces are taped off and protected.
03
Remove dry soil
Loose dust and grit come up first so cleaning reaches embedded grime.
04
Clean & extract
Cleaner is worked into the surface and grout, then extracted.
05
Inspect & protect
Areas that fall short are cleaned again; sealers are applied where appropriate.

Common questions
Tile & Stone Care in Emerald Hills: FAQs
Do you provide tile and grout cleaning in Emerald Hills?
Yes. Tile and grout cleaning is available for homes and businesses in Emerald Hills. An acid-free cleaner is worked into the grout lines, then flushed and extracted with hot water and high-volume suction, and a penetrating sealer can be added afterward if you want it.
When is sealing recommended for tile or stone in Emerald Hills?
Sealing is optional but recommended for most porous stone and cement-based grout, especially light-colored stone. Glazed ceramic and porcelain tile does not need sealing itself, though its grout may. A sealer slows absorption so spills can be wiped up; it does not make any surface stain-proof.
What tile and stone surfaces can you service in Emerald Hills?
We work on ceramic and porcelain tile and its grout, natural stone such as marble, travertine, granite, limestone and slate, and concrete, pavers and other hard surfaces, indoors and out. In Emerald Hills, as everywhere we work, each surface is identified and tested before cleaning so the method suits the material.
Do you clean shower tile and grout in Emerald Hills?
Yes. Shower cleaning in Emerald Hills removes soap scum, mold and mildew from tile and grout, scrapes out broken or mildewed grout, re-caulks where needed and seals repaired areas. Grout that is cracked or crumbling can be fully regrouted instead.
How do I request an estimate in Emerald Hills?
Call (858) 952-0777 or use the free estimate form. A technician looks at the surface, its condition and how it has been maintained, then gives you a written estimate with any limits on the final result explained before work is booked.
